بائع كعك بعجوة

A Syrian delight, made of some form of dough filled with pressed dates. The cleanliness of this curbside product is questionable. I can't trust whether it is hygenic or not, but it should taste good. Posted by Picasa

Needle Crafts Seller - بائع أشغال يدوية

This guy sitting near Hamidyeh Souk is selling various handmade needle works. What I can't get is the low price for which these things are sold, relatively speaking. The one craft being held is for 150 SP ($3). I wouldn't accept even $10 for such a work, even if it was sloppy. Posted by Picasa

Boiled Corn Cobs Seller - بائع ذرة مسلوقة

In comparison to the roasted corn, these guys are not stationary. They roam and sell their corn cobs that rest for ever in the big bowl in which is constantly heated by a fire underneath it. The lamp "Lux" is a common feature among many curbside roamers. Posted by Picasa
